There are many stages in life where we quite simply, feel 'stuck'. This could present itself as feeling bored in your routine or the sensation of life not going anywhere. This isn't always something your loved ones can shake you out of or something you necessarily need therapy for. But it is something that a coach can have a transformative impact on.

Reach out to me today for a chat, the first one will cost you nothing, other than your time - and together, we'll find the spark you need to move to the next step.

My Story

I grew up in the beautiful south island of New Zealand. Surrounded by mountains and lakes for most of my childhood, I believe my proximity to nature had a therapeutic impact on my mental health as a child and helped balance out the tough times. As a young queer and neurodiverse kid, I struggled socially and didnt feel understood by my peers or teachers. Without any accurate representation, I didn't see myself reflected in society, and I didnt know where to look.

As you can imagine, this experience scarred me. A belief took root in me, a belief that I was broken, unworthy of love and doomed to fail. My adult life began with these core beliefs and everytime I perceived myself as 'having failed', I felt a sickening sense of shame. I didn't outwardly appear to be struggling, but inside I was drowning.

I had been to a few therapists, which had helped me a little - but it wasn't until I read the book 'The Velvet Rage' by Alan Downs, that I was able to identify just how much shame had been a factor in my life, and how tragically common this was for so many queer people. After an ADHD diagnosis a few years later, things made a lot more sense and I was able to begin unshackling myself from many of the effects of toxic shame.

Securing the services of a coach, was life changing. This experience led me to be kinder towards myself and inspired me to dive deep into the world of coaching, to the point where I began to apply coaching methodology to my personal and professional life with amazing results. Self-compassion was, and still is, a guiding star.

With a degree in business transformation and change, I specialize in implementing strategies for organizational and individual improvement. And as a certified coach, I'm equipped to provide tailored services that empower individuals like you.

Drawing from my experience as a queer and neurodiverse individual, I emphasize the importance of self-compassion in personal and professional growth, and I truly believe in the power it has to change lives, just as it did with mine.
